Condition: Good condition with a couple of fine line creases from natural age.
About the Artist - Andrea Cascella
Andrea Cascella was a Italian Sculptor (1919-1990). During the World War II he was conscripted to war as a training commander. But after the war in the 1950s his work started to gain momentum with exhibitions in London, New York and more. He made various appearances at the Venice Biennale, in which he was awarded in 1964, and commissioner in 1972. Although he was mostly known for marble and stone sculptures, he was also a painter and ceramist.
