About the Artist - André Bourrié
André Bourrié (1933–2020) was a French artist celebrated for his remarkable contributions to figurative painting. Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, he emerged as a prominent figure in the New Figuration movement. Bourrié's work showcased a unique blend of realism and imagination, often exploring dreamlike and introspective themes. His mastery over light and color lent depth to his canvases.
