About the Artist - Rene Mels
Rene Mels was a Belgian artist (1907-1977). He worked across a variety of styles including painting, etching, sculptor and ceramicist. In the 1930s he most commonly drew figures. But he was soon drawn to more experimental mediums which led to a rich and diverse portfolio of work across him career.
