Studying at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, he drew inspiration from Post-Impressionist art. Specializing in bas-reliefs, sculptures, and frescoes, Vieillevie adorned schools and town halls in cities like Paris, Cannes, Strasbourg, Lille, and St. Tropez, with his creations later displayed in hotels. His work, reminiscent of Post-Impressionist painters such as Van Gogh, focused on still lifes, lush gardens, and flora. Vieillevie exhibited in Paris, Tokyo, Osaka, and Seoul, earning the International Lion’s Club Gold Medal for Painting in 1974. Following his death in 1993, a significant exhibition at the Katia Granoff Gallery honored his legacy.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"FORM Vintage","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":47543091593394,"sku":null,"price":274.95,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0776\/0956\/6386\/files\/404883_d7cf601d8c044907a4a87e135d3fa554_mv2.jpg?v=1780347694","url":"https:\/\/formvintageshop.com\/products\/1970s-gerard-vieillevie-paris-signed-artist-proof","provider":"FORM Vintage","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
