About the Artist - Frederic Bouché
Frédéric Bouché (1948-2000) was a French artist, born in Paris to a family of Italian origin with a strong artistic background. His father, a sculptor and professor at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Marseilles, influenced Bouché's artistic journey. In 1967, he enrolled in the school of Applied Arts in Zurich but returned to Marseilles in 1968 to join the École des Beaux-Arts de Marseille, where he attended his father's classes.
Bouché's artistic career spanned various mediums, including painting, sculpture, engraving, and lithography. His debut exhibition occurred in Normandy, initiating a series of exhibitions that continued for almost three decades across countries such as Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, and Japan.
Frédéric Bouché passed away on March 28, 2000. His work reflects a diverse artistic exploration influenced by his family heritage and experiences across different countries, leaving a lasting impact on the art scenes he touched during his prolific career.
